About Sasol:
Sasol is an integrated chemical and energy company that was established in the early 1950s. The company’s first product was eight drums of creosote. By its 10th anniversary and after five years of production, the company had generated 1.36 million rands. In 1966, it formed the South African Gas Distribution Co. to distribute and sell pipeline gas.
Sasol operates in 32 countries, with 31,270 employees globally. They develop and market technologies, build and operate large-scale production plants to produce a range of products including liquid fuels, low-carbon electricity, and chemicals.
Sasol Learnership Program 2023:
Sasol’s 12-month learnership is a fixed-term contract within the Commercial and Logistics division of the company. The program combines a theoretical component in line with NQF learnership programs and hands-on training that is intended for entry-level learners looking to develop their professional skills. As part of the program’s emphasis on work readiness, successful candidates will be responsible for providing administrative support to managers and other departments. The theoretical phase of the learnership will provide learners with exposure to the following areas:
- Entrepreneurship
- Customer service
- Business
- Math literacy
- Business operations
- Communications
- Computer proficiency
Who should apply?
To be considered for the role, applicants must meet the following basic eligibility criteria:
- Completed Matric/Grade 12
- Willing to actively participate in all workplace exercises and activities
- Able to commit to the 12-month learnership and complete the assessment process successfully
